I’m a journalist based in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
I mostly work in audio, although I also write for magazines. I’ve covered disasters, border disputes, the justice system and climate change, among many other things, and my reporting has been published by Outside, 99% Invisible, Bloomberg Businessweek, NPR, PBS and elsewhere.
I’ve also been on staff at The New York Times, where I edited First Person, a narrative interview podcast hosted by Lulu Garcia-Navarro and Matter of Opinion, a podcast featuring columnists Carlos Lozada, Ross Douthat, Lydia Polgreen and Michelle Cottle in conversation with each other. Before the Times, I worked for Adonde Media, editing the Duolingo Spanish and English-learning podcasts and as a producer and editor for Death, Sex and Money and Nancy at WNYC.
Curiosity about the world and the many ways people walk through it brought me to journalism, and I bring that ethos to all of my work as both an editor and a reporter.
